Dr. Richards Publishes Research, Presents Paper at Annual Midwest Association of Teacher Educators Conference
Lebanon, IL (06/09/2022) — Dr. Timothy Richards, now-retired professor of secondary education at McKendree University, recently authored an article titled "Teacher Preparation and Strategies for Supporting Students with Mental Health Issues." The article was published in the 2022 issue of Critical Issues in Teacher Education (CITE). CITE is a double blind reviewed refereed scholarly journal of the Illinois Association of Teacher Educators.
Dr. Richards also presented his paper at the 35th annual Midwest Association of Teacher Educators Spring Conference, which was held at Illinois State University in Normal, Ill., on Friday, April 8, 2022. The Association of Teacher Educators is the only national, individual membership organization devoted solely to the improvement of teacher education for both school- and campus-based teacher educators. Today ATE members represent nearly 1,300 educators in teacher colleges, universities, school districts and state education agencies within 41 regional and state affiliated units and US Territories.
