Dr. Kelly Stewart to Offer Fourth Administrator's Academy This August
Lebanon, IL (07/30/2025) — Dr. Kelly Stewart, associate professor of education at McKendree University, will be offering her fourth Administrator's Academy this August, in partnership with the Illinois Principals' Association. This academy is based on the book Difficult Conversations Don't Have to Be Difficult by Jon Gordon and Amy P. Kelly.
Dr. Stewart presented 20 academies in 2024 to more than 500 superintendents, central office staff, principals, and assistant principals. She is a certified trainer for several Jon Gordon programs, including The Power of Positive Leadership, The Power of Positive Teams, The Energy Bus, The Energy Bus for Schools, and Difficult Conversations Don't Have to Be Difficult. She also teaches graduate classes in McKendree's School of Education and is the coordinator of the Principal Prep Program.
