McKendree Assistant Professors of Marketing Attend, Present at Conference in Santa Fe
Lebanon, IL (11/14/2024) — Dr. Brittany Dobill and Dr. Allie Helfrich, both assistant professors of marketing at McKendree University, attended and presented at the Marketing Management Association Fall Conference in Santa Fe, N.M., from Sept. 18 through 20.
Helfrich participated in a panel titled "Innovative Strategies for Teaching Social Media Marketing." She also presented a paper titled "Why Your LMS System Should Be Your Student's Best Friend and Probably Yours Too!" Dobill served as a session chair at the conference and was part of a panel speaking on fostering student creativity in marketing education.
The conference was a great way for the two professors to meet with other marketing professors from around the country and exchange information.
"We were able to share ideas to use in the classroom and gain valuable insights from the marketing industry during the conference," Dr. Dobill commented.
